Getting Out There

My wife and I attended the 2016 Walk for Life here in Augusta on May 7. She’s a volunteer for the Augusta Care Pregnancy Center, and this is their biggest fundraiser of the year.

As I mentioned in a recent post, we believe strongly in community involvement. Businesses can engage with their communities to build relationships. That’s what enhances and enables our services: knowing our clients and what’s important to them.

We also believe in supporting nonprofits and religious organizations. We offer discounted rates for our clients who fall into that category, and do some pro bono work from time to time.

But back to the event. It was a beautiful spring morning, sunny skies with temperatures in the 60s. The event attracted about 80 walkers – well above the hoped-for 60 – who assembled donors and walked about 2 miles for the cause.

For your enjoyment, I’ve posted some photos of the event below. What community engagement does your business enjoy? Feel free to comment below, or contact us!
